We have a blog page for walks HERE, but sometimes we overlook what is on our doorstep. We are very lucky to live in a beautiful part of the world. Our Home is built on the site of old railway sidings and the line itself is long gone. In its place is a bridle path that runs behind the houses that face us.

Here is Jessie looking with an old map of the area showing the trains, I have superimposed a Google maps satellite image on the picture for those of you that know the area to get your bearings!

If we walk between the houses facing us, this is the view now looking left and right.

Its a popular hangout out for dog walkers and you can keep a small cockapoo occupied, both on and off the lead for an hour easily. So for a morning or afternoon stretch it is ideal, especially now the day is lighter for longer
