Morton of Pitmilly

In September 2012 we visited St.Andrews and stayed at Morton of Pitmilly. It wasn't our first visit but because Granddad and his Chihuahua (Pepe) came with us, it was the first time we had walked a dog on Kingsbarns beach  For a while there had been a "thought" of getting our own dog, perhaps in the minds of some family members more than others.. but spending a week with Pepe and dreaming of walking our own hound on this beautiful sand pushed us over the edge!!

During our stay at Pitmilly we spent several hours web surfing for Cockapoos to view.. After several phone calls we arranged to view a litter in Doncaster, on the way home from Scotland to Manchester.
The viewing turned to a choosing and a taking home!!!

Now 8 months on we have returned to Morton of Pitmilly  with our own Dog to live the dream !
It was a last minute booking just for Mum Dad and Puppy, who is now nearly 10 months old.
We love the place, it has excellent facilities and accommodation, all of which is totally dog friendly.
Jessie loves it too, especially the beach !

When we arrived Jessie instantly liked the underfloor heating !
The complementary tennis ball and dog biscuits on the dinning room table went down well too !!

We dropped our bags and went straight to the beach...

Walking your dog on the beach is brilliant !

Playing Fetch is better...

Learning to swim is fun too.

They even have a fabulous bakery in St Andrews .. But Jessie is not sure how you are meant to kiss the Frogs, when they are behind glass !!!
